Kaiser Chiefs
Went to see the Kaiser Chiefs at the MEN on Saturday. Good show playing for a little over an hour but two support acts - the Pigeon Detectives and Good Shoes - spun the night out. Stopped at Alex and Tim's which gave me my first opportunity to try out one of Negresco's cocktails. Not just any cocktail though - this one too 15 minutes to prepare and involved copius stirring!
Also on Saturday I popped up to Waddecar to slave away in front of a laptop for many hours to finish off the new West Lancashire County Scouts website. It is, of course, written using symfony and will develop over the coming months. Hopefully it will allow more people to take ownership of maintaining the site as well as providing a more "corporate" looking face for the County.
