Sandcastles on the beach

Welcome to a brand new Advent Calendar for 2008.  I've planned ahead this year so I've got a reasonable idea of what I'm going to publish in the coming weeks but as always, I'll be including some things that happen at the last minute.

First up is a picture from my trip to Singapore in October.  On the beach there were a group of twenty or so people building giant sandcastles like these.
